The most important thing to remember about a showcase is that it is a venue for you to tell people what is currently happening with your organization, company or service. When something stops being current information, then it should be changed for the next piece of current information. 

Providing current information to viewers helps you in a number of ways and, for your showcase to be fully effective, it is important that it be kept up to date. It is alright for information to be current for a long period of time but it should not be out of date. If the information is no longer relevant, people will start to distrust your showcase and look elsewhere for information.
