Make a Marketing Schedule

There are many ways to market your product or service.

Showcase Central is a powerful tool and should be one of several in your marketing toolbox.

Plan your updates into a comprehensive monthly plan so that you know when you need to do something to get the most effective advertising campaign. Include Facebook updates, Twitter tweets, Blog posts and Showcase newsletters and Showcase watcher tab information into your plan.

This PDF document is an example of a marketing schedule plan that you might use.

Social Marketing Plan PDF Document

The following is a brief description of the document with suggestions of how it might be used:

1. WEEK

There are 5 weeks shown so that any month can be shown with this one document. The start day of the month will change, but the whole month will fit.

Alternatively, you can use it as a generic 5 week plan and ignore months altogether.

2. TASK

The tasks are suggestions for what you can plan to do in any given months. This includes when to update your Showcase or any other social networking sites you are using.

You can also list meetings and specify times to review the success of your marketing campaign.

3. DAYS OF THE WEEK

Each day of the week has 4 columns. There are two ways to use these colums:

  • List the people doing the work and give them each a column for each day
  • List the different products or services you are marketing and make a column for each of them in each day
