Showcase Content Guidelines  

Showcases are multimedia, multilingual, online marketing tools. They deliver online content in a variety of ways to showcase viewers. The following guidelines serve to enhance that experience.

Text

1. Use short sentences and short paragraphs
2. Showcase text and the information box should be able to be seen by a viewer on a standard desktop monitor. Avoid lengthy text when possible
3. Do not provide personal information that you do not wish viewers to have
4. Use information boxes appropriately and provide as much information as you are comfortable with
5. Provide links that are appropriate to your showcase message such as your corporate website.
6. Uploaded PDF files should be less than 10 MB in size
7. Ensure that the source of your textual content is original or owned by you or your company. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.

Images

1. All images must be owned by the showcase owner, or used with permission
2. All images should be relevant to the showcase topic
3. Pornographic images depicting explicit sexual subject matter are not allowed
4. All images should be 72dpi
5. Thumbnail images should be JPEG files 70x70 pixels
6. Logo 1 image files should be 460 pixels wide or less
7. Logo 2 image files should be 200 pixels wide or less
8. Other image files should not exceed 800x800 pixels

Video

1. All video must be owned by the showcase owner, or used with permission
2. All video should be relevant to the showcase topic
3. Pornographic video depicting explicit sexual subject matter are not allowed
4. Video can be WMV, FLV, AVI or MPG where the file size is less than 25 MB

Audio

1. All audio must be owned by the showcase owner, or used with permission
2. All audio should be relevant to the showcase topic
3. Pornographic audio depicting explicit sexual subject matter are not allowed
4. Audio files can be MP3 files where the file size is less than 25 MB
